The Plants of the Boreal Forest
There is an interesting variety of plants in the Boreal Forest. Many of those plants are coniferous trees. Spruce, fir and pine trees are all examples.

This is a picture of a spruce tree in winter. These trees are interesting because they do not lose their needles in the winter. Black Spruces, despite their name, are green, and produces cones in the winter.
Yet, there are many other plants in the Boreal Forest, such as these wildflowers. They grow only in the summer, yet the forest is rich with all these plants at that time making the colors flourish.. Even though the flowers are beautiful, the crown jewel of the Boreal Forest is the pine trees.
